I am nestled deep down in the woods of south Georgia in my cozy home where my great danes constantly encourage me to paint. I am a self - taught full time artist and mother of three. I started painting around the age of 8 with my father in his wood shop and learned early on that anything you make with your hands is an art and a craft and it has special value. You dont see quite as many hand made items now with technology quickly moving us forward, but you can always grab a cup of coffee or tea, relax in front of one of your favorite paintings and let it transform your mood. Animals also have this affect if you let them. This is why my main inspiration has and always will be the animals.

I work with acrylics on canvas, paper, cloth and wood. I love to use my acrylics in a bright whimsical fun way!
