The daughter of an artist and art teacher, I have studied art my entire life and most recently took classes at the Art Institute of Colorado. I paint in watercolor most of the time, although I still paint in oils, use pen and ink, and colored pencil, and have also worked in metal welding (acetylene) and stained glass. I worked for some time as a commercial graphic artist. Animals are important subjects in many of my paintings.
