Art For Critters - Caron Wiedrick

Accomplished Canadian artist, Caron Wiedrick specializes in realistic renditions of animals, both domestic and wild. Her education in Animal Sciences, previous career as a Wildlife Rehabilitator and involvement in horse rescue lend themselves to help her understand and capture emotion in her paintings. She shares her workshop-Treasured Memories Studio, with her 9 cats, 3 dogs, her husband and their 2 children in rural Southern Ontario.

Caron is a self-representing artist and has enjoyed offering her soulful creations to the ebay community for the past 4 years. She has won several awards for her work both on the internet as well as brick & mortar and thanks her colleagues for there acknowledgment of her efforts. Her greatest reward always has been the heartwarming appreciation from her collectors. Caron works in several mediums including watercolor, graphite, acrylic, pastel and oils.

Her two greatest loves, cats and horses, are often the subject of her works. What she loves best in the process of these creations, is the moment when all else around her disappears and only she and her subject exists. Its during that moment when she can melt into the windows of the soul and the two become one if only for a moment...
